The RFID laundry and washing solution is a solution that binds high-temperature and water-resistant RFID tags to linens (such as hotel towels and hospital bed sheets) or workwear, combined with the washing plant's reading and writing equipment and management system, to achieve the full process tracking of linens from receiving, washing, drying to distribution. The core solution is to solve the pain points of "difficult traceability of linen loss, inaccurate washing counting, and unclear definiti
1. Core components
• Hardware layer: dedicated water-resistant RFID tag (encapsulated in epoxy resin, capable of withstanding high temperatures above 85 ℃ and more than 1000 water washes, compatible with linen/fixtures), fixed reader/writer in the washing plant (installed at the fabric receiving port, washing equipment inlet, drying outlet, and fabric feeding port), handheld reader/writer (used for on-site inventory and linen status verification), data acquisition terminal (connected to washing equipment, recording washing parameters).
• Software layer: RFID laundry management system (core module, including linen file management, receiving and sending counting, washing process tracking, loss statistics, customer reconciliation, can be integrated with hotel/hospital linen management systems).
2. Key process applications
1. Coding and filing of linen: When new linen is put into storage, the label is sewn/pasted in a concealed place (such as the corners of towels or the inside of fixtures), and the linen information (material, specifications, customer ownership, and usage area) is entered through a reader to generate a 'one item, one code' file, clarifying the ownership of the linen.
2. Automatic counting of sending and receiving: When the hotel/hospital sends linens to the washing plant, the reader automatically scans all labeled linens, quickly counts the quantity, and compares it with the delivery note to avoid 'manual counting errors'; When the washing is completed and the delivery is made, scan again to confirm the quantity, generate a receipt record, and clarify the responsibility.
3. Washing process tracking: When the linen enters the washing and drying equipment, the reader automatically records parameters such as time, equipment number, and washing temperature. The system updates the linen status in real time (such as 'washing in progress → drying completed'). If there is a washing accident (such as damage), the corresponding link can be traced back and responsibility can be defined.
4. Loss and lifespan management: The system records the number of times the linen has been washed, and when it approaches the preset service life (such as washing towels 300 times), it automatically triggers a replacement warning; If the linen is lost, locate the lost link (such as during delivery) through the final scanning record to reduce the loss rate.
3. Core values
• Cost reduction and consumption reduction: The loss rate of linen has been reduced by more than 60%, reducing the cost of duplicate purchases; Automatic counting replaces manual labor, saving 30% of shipping and receiving manpower.
Standardized process: Fully record the data of the entire washing process to avoid disputes between customers and washing factories due to 'quantity discrepancies'.
Quality assurance: Trace washing parameters to ensure that linen washing meets standards (such as hospital linen high-temperature disinfection requirements), and improve service quality.
